SINGAPORE — Online application for tickets to the National Day Parade (NDP) this year will open from noon next Monday (May 29), with the parade to be held at the Padang in August.

Open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents, the application window will close by noon on June 12 for balloting and successful applicants will be notified via email.

Eligible applicants may apply for up to six tickets to the NDP on Aug 9 or the two previews before that.

The NDP 2023 executive committee said in a fact sheet issued on Friday (May 26) that tickets are not allocated based on a first-come-first-served basis.

With scams being prevalent, the ministry strongly advised applicants to avoid filling out forms from unverified links and sources, to prevent fraudulent attempts to obtain their personal information.

HOW TO APPLY FOR NDP 2023 TICKETS

Applicants may apply for two, four or six tickets to any of the three shows:

  • NDP preview 1 on July 22
  • NDP preview 2 on July 29
  • NDP on Aug 9

Each ticket admits only one spectator, and all children — including infants carried in arms — must have a valid ticket for admission to the show, the NDP exco said.

They may apply for the tickets either on the NDP website or by scanning the official QR code with their mobile devices.

  1. Go to the website or scan the QR code
  2. This will take you to a “FormSG”
  3. Fill in all the fields (national registration identity card number, email address, contact number) in the form as prompted on the screen
  4. Submit the form online
  5. Applicants will get an email to confirm their submission

They are recommended to use their personal email addresses to ensure that notification emails would not be redirected to their junk or spam folders, the NDP exco said.

HOW NDP 2023 TICKETS WILL BE ALLOCATED

  • Each applicant will get only one ballot chance
  • Only the latest submission by an applicant will be considered as final, and all previous entries will be excluded from the balloting process
  • Successful applicants will receive a notification between June 23 and 28 through the personal email they submitted during the application
  • As a precaution to be alert for scams or phishing attempts, the NDP exco said that this notification would be sent from ndp2023 [at] hapz.com
  • Anyone receiving any notifications on NDP 2023 should beware of emails sent from other addresses

Applicants are also reminded to check both their inbox and spam or junk mail folders in case they miss the official email notification.

All tickets for the three shows are strictly not for sale, the NDP exco said.

Action will be taken against anyone who partake in ticket scalping and fraud activities, it added.
