The Ministry of Health (MOH) said that 12 of the 13 infections have no symptoms.
The imported cases include a 38-year-old Singaporean man who returned from Indonesia, a 47-year-old permanent resident who travelled to India and a dependant’s pass holder with travel history to Bangladesh.
The remaining 10 imported cases are work permit holders — aged between 23 and 45 — who are employed in Singapore and who had arrived from India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar.
They had been placed on stay-home notices upon their arrival in Singapore and were tested for the coronavirus.
Overall, the number of new cases in the community has remained low with a total of two cases in the past week, of which one has no known links to other confirmed cases so far, MOH said.
UPDATES ON REMAINING CASES
The total number of infections in Singapore now stands at 58,273.
Of these, 58,168 people have fully recovered and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities, including eight on Monday.
There are still 28 patients in hospitals and most are in stable condition or improving. No one is in intensive care.
Another 48 patients are isolated at community facilities. They have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still tested positive for Covid-19.
Twenty-nine people have died from complications due to the disease.
