New SBS bus service 49 to start from Dec 14 this year
SINGAPORE — A new loop bus service, Service 49, will begin operation from Dec 14 this year, announced SBS Transit today (Dec 4).

SINGAPORE — A new loop bus service, Service 49, will begin operation from Dec 14 this year, announced SBS Transit today (Dec 4).
Service 49 — the 16th bus service launched under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme — will provide connectivity for commuters travelling from Yuan Ching Road, Jurong West Street 41 and 42 to Lakeside MRT.
Operating from Taman Jurong bus terminal, the service will ply along Yuan Ching Road, Tah Ching Road, Coropration Drive, Corporation Road, Boon Lay Way, Jurong West Street 51, Jurong West Avenue 1, Jurong West Street 41 and 42.
It will also enhance access to amenities including the market and food centre at Jurong West Street 52 and schools such as Shuqun Primary School and Lakeside Primary School.
Service 49 will operate daily from 6am to 11.30pm.
