SINGAPORE — Singtel on Wednesday (March 9) announced a new add-on that will allow customers to double their mobile data allowance for a flat fee of S$5.90 a month.
Called DataX2, the add-on is available to subscribers who register or re-contract for Singtel’s Combo 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12 Plans.
For instance, a Combo 2 customer will enjoy 4GB of data, instead of 2GB, if they pay the additional flat fee.
Mr Yuen Kuan Moon, Singtel’s CEO of Consumer Singapore, said the decision to expand the telco’s data-centric offerings “came naturally” as customers want better value on their data. “Extra data has never been more affordable,” he added.
The add-on will be available from today for customers who sign up at the IT Show, online or at Singtel shops and retailers.
