8:19pm: President Halimah Yacob takes a selfie with a couple of young performers before departing from the parade.
8:15pm: Happy Birthday, Singapore! Fireworks light up the Singapore River and Marina Bay skyline as the parade comes to a spectacular end.
8:12pm: Watch as the crowd recites the Pledge before joining veteran rocker Ramli Sarip in a stirring rendition of the National Anthem.
8:10pm: Everyone joins in singing the National Day classic, Home.
8:06pm: Local artistes across different generations come together to perform this year's theme song, Our Singapore.
7:50pm: Artistes Yung Raja, Wheelsmith, Fariz Jabba, Bani Hidir, Beverly Morata, Mel Ferdinands and Robert Fernando perform an all-time favourite, Stand Up For Singapore.
7:26pm: The show segment begins.
7:12pm: The mobile column, a procession consisting 171 assets across the armed forces, police force and civil defence force, returns to the National Day Parade after four years.
6:58pm: The Enhanced Aeriel Display features an F-15SG fighter aircraft performing several manoeuvres over the Padang, including a steep vertical climb.
6.45pm: The state flag flies overhead, followed by the aerial flypast by five F-15SG fighter aircraft from the Republic of Singapore Air Force.

6.20pm: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong arrives at the Padang
6.15pm: The crowd welcomes Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah's arrival at the Padang.
6.10pm: We are starting this birthday bash in true Singapore fashion — with the Padang wave!
6pm: Crowd favourite the Red Lions free-fall from a height of over 4,000m. We are in awe!
