Aliff was first arrested by the police in June after Ms Raja Yunika filed a report against him.

She told Malaysian newspaper The Star that she met up with Aliff to help him rebuild his acting career, after his marriage to Malaysian actress Bella Astillah broke down. They officially divorced in May this year.

While filing for divorce, Ms Astillah cited his extra-marital affairs with other women. News of his fling with fellow Malaysian actress Alifah Nasir first broke in 2017, and he also reportedly cheated with another unnamed actress.

A Malaysian court also ordered Aliff to pay RM1,000 (S$329) in maintenance every month for his and Ms Astillah’s two-year-old son’s expenses.
