SG50 Jubilee Baby Gift: A sneak peek
Members of the media yesterday got a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the packaging process of the SG50 Jubilee Baby Gift sets. About 9,000 to 10,000 sets will be ready for delivery in the first quarter of next year, said Noel Gifts International, the official vendor of the gift sets. The gifts are for all Singaporean babies born next year to commemorate the nation’s 50th birthday.

The gifts are for all Singaporean babies born next year to commemorate the nation’s 50th birthday.
Each set contains eight items: A special medallion, a multi-functional shawl, a baby sling, a set of baby clothes, a diaper bag, a scrapbook, a family photo frame and a set of baby books. Parents can log on to www.nptd.gov.sg/sg50baby to register for the gifts. They can choose to arrange for a free delivery to an address in Singapore or for self-collection at the birth registration counters at maternity hospitals in Singapore or at the Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority.
