SINGAPORE — A 33-year-old man was charged in a hospital by a field magistrate on Wednesday (Jan 12) with the murder of his 30-year-old wife.

David Brian Chow Kwok-Hun is accused of murdering his wife Isabel Elizabeth Francis in a public flat along Ang Mo Kio Street 23 at around 7.30am on Tuesday.

No other information, including if any weapon was used, was provided in court documents.

Chow’s LinkedIn account shows that he is the managing director of KnowledgeTree Training Centre, a SkillsFutureSG-approved training organisation.

On Tuesday night, the police said in a press release that they were alerted to a stabbing case at the flat and when they arrived, they found the woman lying motionless.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Chow was taken to hospital with injuries.

The police said preliminary investigations revealed that the man and the woman were married.

If convicted of murder, the man faces the death penalty.
