SINGAPORE — Two suspects were yesterday charged with the murder of a man whose body was found at the multi-storey car park of Pearls Centre on Sunday afternoon.
Two other men who are believed to be involved in the case are still at large, court documents showed.
Malaysians Thiagu Muniandy, 23, and Sunder Rangasamy, 27, were charged with causing the death of Mr S Krisnan Value at between 12.37am and 1.13am on Sunday.
The body of the 47-year-old was only found in the afternoon, when the police received a call for assistance at 1.16pm. Mr Krisnan — who was found lying motionless on the 11th floor of the dimly-lit car park of the building at Eu Tong Sen Street — was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
The two men will be remanded at the Central Police Division for a week while the police continue their investigations, which include taking the suspects out to trace their accomplices.
The suspects — who could be sentenced to death if found guilty of murder — will appear in court again next Tuesday. KOK XING HUI
