The World Police Band Concert is an annual event which has been held in major cities around the world since 1996 and was last held in Singapore in 2003. It aims to spread the global message of safety and peace in the world through music, and serves to foster and strengthen relationships among police communities around the world. The Singapore Police Force Band is joined by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Band and the New York City Police Department Band at this year’s event, which ends tomorrow. There will be a Goodwill reception today and a concert performance at the Esplanade Concert Hall tomorrow. Photo: Ooi Boon Keong
