SINGAPORE — A 32-year-old man will be charged on Tuesday (Nov 30) after he allegedly molested five women while teaching them yoga.
SINGAPORE — A 32-year-old man will be charged on Tuesday (Nov 30) after he allegedly molested five women while teaching them yoga.
In a news release on Monday, the police said that the man faces 10 charges of outrage of modesty.
He is said to have molested the five women — who were aged between 24 and 38 — during yoga classes in 2019 and 2020.
If found guilty of outrage of modesty, he could be jailed up to two years, fined, caned, or any combination of the three penalties.
The police warned that they have zero tolerance towards sexual offenders who “threaten the personal safety of the community” and they will be dealt with sternly in accordance with the law.
