SEA Games: Dipna-Lim Prasad breaks Chee Swee Lee's 43-year-old national record in women's 400m

KUALA LUMPUR — Dipna Lim-Prasad has set a new national record in the women's 400m after clocking 54.18sec on Thursday night (Aug 24) at the 29th SEA Games to win silver.

KUALA LUMPUR — Dipna Lim-Prasad has set a new national record in the women's 400m after clocking 54.18sec on Thursday night (Aug 24) at the 29th SEA Games to win silver.

The 26-year-old rewrote Chee Swee Lee's mark of 55.08s, which had stood for 43 years. 

Lim-Prasad's second place is also Singapore's first SEA Games medal in the women's 400m in 42 years, with Chee winning gold in 1975.
