SEA Games: Shooter Jasmine Ser posts new Games record to win gold in 50m rifle 3 positions

KUALA LUMPUR — National shooter Jasmine Ser has secured the South-East Asian (SEA) Games gold in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions.

KUALA LUMPUR — National shooter Jasmine Ser has secured the South-East Asian (SEA) Games gold in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions.

At the national shooting range in Subang on Saturday (Aug 26), the 26-year-old posted a new Games record score of 451.2 points to finish ahead of Thailand's Ratchadaporn Plengsaengthong (449.3), who claimed the silver.

Nur Suryani Mohd Taibi of Malaysia shot 434.6 to to take the bronze.

Ser's team-mate Martina Veloso finished sixth out of eight competitors in the final with a score of 403.2 points.

This is Ser's second medal of the Games, having secured the silver on Friday in the 10m air rifle event, which was won by Martina.
