CUTTING-EDGE INNOVATION

Kyocera’s ceramic knives have several features that make them ideal for cutting fruits, vegetables and meat.

For starters, the knives fit comfortably in your hand, thanks to the ergonomically designed handles. Weighing less than half the weight of a typical metal knife, Kyocera’s ceramic knives allow you to chop away for longer periods with greater ease.

Also, the smooth, compact zirconia ceramic blade ensures flexibility and precise cuts.

Unlike traditional kitchen knives, ceramic knives do not contain metal ions, which tend to react with food items and leave a metallic taste or cause them to brown.

Made of ceramic, Kyocera’s knives do not rust. Also, Kyocera’s blades are less susceptible to wear and tear than most metal blades. According to the manufacturers, you can even wash the knives in a dishwasher without worrying about damaging them.

“A sharp knife is every chef’s important tool,” said Mr Shigeru Koyama, European president for Kyocera Fineceramics GmbH. “Because our blades retain their sharpness for an especially long time, we are serving up the best possibilities in the kitchen.”
