48 places islandwide to activate PAssion Silver Card
We thank Mr Wilson Choo, Mr Kuek Sui Liang and Mr David Yap for their feedback (“Make it easier for seniors to activate new Silver Card”, Dec 29; “With new Silver Card, can seniors retain existing concession card?”, Jan 5; “MRT station staff can also help to activate Silver Card”, Jan 9).
Like the existing purple Senior Citizen Concession Card, seniors need to activate their new PAssion Silver Concession Cards to enjoy concessionary fares on public transport. Seniors with existing Senior Citizen Concession Cards would also need to transfer the remaining stored value and/or monthly concession passes on these cards to their activated PAssion Silver Concession Cards.
We therefore advise eligible seniors to activate their cards at TransitLink Ticket Offices and Concession Card Replacement Offices where it is convenient for them to do both.
There are 40 TransitLink Ticket Offices and eight Concession Card Replacement Offices located at MRT stations and bus interchanges islandwide, including Changi Airport Terminal 2.
Twenty-five additional temporary counters have been set up across these 48 places to ease activation volume during the initial launch period. Seniors who do not live near any of these 48 places can visit any of the 10 activation counters set up at various Community Clubs until Feb 28. The locations of all activation points can be found at www.passioncard.sg/Our-Cards/About-PAssion-Silver-Concession-Card.
As the PAssion Silver Concession Card replaces the purple Senior Citizen Concession Card, existing Senior Citizen Concession Cards will be retained by TransitLink when the new PAssion Silver Concession Cards are activated. We apologise for any misinformation that may have been provided.
We would like to thank Mr Choo, Mr Kuek and Mr Yap for their feedback, which helps us improve how we serve our seniors.
