Let’s be thankful to those who helped control riot
With regard to the Little India riot, we should take a moment and be thankful: Thankful to the police officers who put their lives on the line to prevent the incident from getting worse and thankful to the Singapore Civil Defence Force officers who performed their job to the best of their ability despite the adverse and difficult circumstances.

No country is immune to such incidents, Singapore included. What we should do is practise a little bit of racial sensitivity when commenting on the issue and learn the lessons that this incident can teach us as we move on together as nation.
