Enhanced parental leave schemes from 1 April 2025

From April 1 next year, four weeks of government-paid paternity leave will be mandatory.
In addition, a new Shared Parental Leave scheme will be introduced, allowing parents to take 10 more weeks of shared leave.
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong shared the details at the National Day Rally on Sunday (Aug 18).
