KUALA LUMPUR — A body was found hanging from the Kota Datul Ehsan arch along the Federal Highway in Malaysia earlier today (Dec 20).
According to a report by The Star Online, the body is believed to be of 53-year-old former Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) serviceman identified as Asok Kumar Koyamboo.
Brickfields OCPD Assistant Commissioner Sharul Othman Mansor said a passer-by contacted the police at about 4.30am after seeing the body, which was hanging from a height of 30m.
“Firemen and police personnel arrived at the scene and lowered the body,” he was quoted by The Star Online as saying.
ACP Sharul also mentioned that no elements of foul play were detected.
The body was sent to University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) for a post-mortem. THE MALAY MAIL ONLINE
