MAS retires MH370 and MH371 flight codes

KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia Airlines has announced that as a mark of respect to the passengers and crew of MH370, the MH370 and MH371 flight codes will be retired from the Malaysia Airlines’ Kuala Lumpur-Beijing route.

KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia Airlines has announced that as a mark of respect to the passengers and crew of MH370, the MH370 and MH371 flight codes will be retired from the Malaysia Airlines’ Kuala Lumpur-Beijing route.

With effect from March 14, the new flight number to replace MH370 and MH371 will be MH318 for Kuala Lumpur to Beijing and MH 319 for Beijing to Kuala Lumpur, it said in a statement.

“There are no changes to the frequency of our services and we will continue to operate double daily services to Beijing,” the statement issued today (March 13) said.

“Our thoughts and prayers remain with the families of our colleagues and passengers of MH370.” THE MALAYSIAN INSIDER
