JOHOR BAHRU — The Johor State Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ) has been instructed to take immediate action over a supposed sex party called “Gang Bang JB Party”, which has been making its rounds online and is scheduled to take place next month.

Johor Islamic Religious Affairs Committee Chairman Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid said the state government condemns the event, which openly invites people to commit immoral acts.

He warned individuals and groups to refrain from participating in such activities in Johor Bahru.

“Inviting people to commit such obscene acts is immoral. I have instructed JAINJ to investigate and take immediate action.

“I am giving a warning… I will not allow it to happen in Johor,” Mr Mohd Fared said in a post on his official Facebook page late on Tuesday (May 23).

His warning came in response to the distribution of invitation cards for the event which is scheduled to take place between 4pm and 9pm on June 20.

The event is said to be open to all races and participants must be free from disease and drugs. The organisers also stated that pictures or video recordings are prohibited.

Commenting further, Mr Mohd Fared also requested the public's cooperation to prevent and stop the event from being held.

In December last year, JAINJ managed to stop the execution of a “by invitation only” foam party event that featured semi-nude participants.

The event was to be held at the swimming pool of a hotel in Johor Bahru but was later called off after complaints and a police probe. THE MALAY MAIL
