K. Sathiaraj, 27, is accused of having caused the death of the elderly woman in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur on Sept 19, according to Malaysia’s state news agency Bernama.

Local media previously reported that the woman had been found dead by her son in her apartment, with her hands tied and her head covered with a piece of cloth.
