SINGAPORE — Courts Megastore in Tampines North and Mustafa Centre in Little India were added to a list of public places that had been visited by Covid-19 cases during their infectious period.

In its evening update on the coronavirus situation in Singapore on Saturday (Nov 28), the Ministry of Health (MOH) said that the infectious persons had visited:

  • Tekka Centre in Little India on Nov 14 from 9.45am to 10.45am; and on Nov 21 from 9.45am to 11.30am

  • Northpoint City in Yishun on Nov 14 from 2.35pm to 3.37pm

  • Courts Megastore in Tampines North on Nov 15 from 5.20pm to 6.25pm

  • Hoe Kee Superstore at New World Centre in Jalan Berseh on Nov 16 from 3.50pm to 4.55pm

  • Mustafa Centre in Little India on Nov 16 from 6.25pm to 7pm, and from 7.45pm to 8.30pm

MOH said that it would have already notified individuals who were identified as close contacts of the confirmed cases.

"As a precautionary measure, persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit," it added.

"They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history."

The National Environment Agency will engage the management of the affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.

On Saturday, MOH reported six new cases of Covid-19, one of which was in the community.

Singapore also recorded its 29th Covid-19 fatality — a 68-year-old Singaporean man who died on Friday of complications due to the coronavirus.
