SINGAPORE — A 19-year-old male motorcyclist died after an accident involving a public bus and a lorry on Lentor Avenue on Friday (Feb 2) afternoon.

SINGAPORE — A 19-year-old male motorcyclist died after an accident involving a public bus and a lorry on Lentor Avenue on Friday (Feb 2) afternoon.

Responding to TODAY’s queries, the police said that they were alerted to the accident along Lentor Avenue towards Yio Chu Kang at 1.40pm on Friday.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force paramedic.

A 35-year-old male lorry driver is assisting with investigations, the police added.

Images posted on the Singapore Roads Accident’s Facebook page show a blue police tent and a red motorcycle lying on the centre of a busy three-lane road.

A green public bus is also seen with its bumper damaged, apparently as a result of the collision.
