SINGAPORE — Hong Kong-born pop star Jackson Wang, who rose to fame through K-pop, is headed back to Singapore in December as part of his first solo concert tour.

Wang, who visited Singapore in August for some promotional activities including a Singapore Tourism Board (STB) campaign, will be back here on Dec 23 for his Magic Man "world tour".

Before the Singapore show, Wang will be in Bangkok (Nov 26) and Kuala Lumpur (Dec 17). His 2023 tour dates includes London (Jan 12), Paris (Jan 15) and Dubai (Feb 4). Ticketing and venue information has not yet been released.

“The 1st time in my life I get to properly tour now,” Jackson announced on an Instagram post on Wednesday (Sept 28).

His recent album Magic Man, after which the tour is named, debuted at No. 15 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

Wang gained popularity as a member of  K-pop boy band Got7.

His August visit to Singapore lasted nearly two weeks and was well-received.

Fans followed and documented Wang as he hosted a party at Marquee nightclub at Marina Bay Sands, fronted a series of STB travel vlogs and launched a pop-up for his streetwear label, Team Wang Design.
