SINGAPORE — VivoCity mall, People's Park Centre and five supermarkets were among 16 locations that have been added to a list of public places that people had been to when they were infectious with Covid-19.
In its nightly update on the coronavirus situation in Singapore on Saturday (May 29), the Ministry of Health (MOH) said that the infectious persons were at the following places at various times indicated in the chart below:
“Those who had been identified as close contacts of confirmed cases would already have been notified by MOH,” the ministry said.
It added that as a precaution, those who had been at these locations during the specified times should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit.
"They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection — such as cough, sore throat and runny nose — as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history."
Individuals may use the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service via the TraceTogether mobile application, SingPass app or https://wereyouthere.safeentry.gov.sg to check whether they were at these places during the specified times, based on their SafeEntry check-in records.
Members of the public do not have to avoid places where confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been, MOH said.
Singapore recorded 33 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, including 23 in the wider community. Four cases were not traced to previously reported infections.
